The University of Technology in Novi Pazar (UTNP) is one of the youngest higher education institutions in Serbia, established on October 26, 2006, with the aim of promoting regional balanced development and improving youth education levels. The first acting president was Professor Ć emal Doli ć anin, and a temporary council was formed by scholars from several top Serbian universities (such as the University of Belgrade, Novi Sad University, etc.) to provide academic support for its initial development.
